Paul Heyman is once again finding himself in the middle of wrestlings most powerful forcesand hes fine walking the tightrope.
In a new interview with The Rich Eisen Show, Heyman confirmed that he will indeed accompany CM Punk to the ring for the triple threat match at WrestleMania 41, which also includes Roman Reigns. And he made it crystal clear that his loyalty to both men isnt in conflictat least in his own mind.
Absolutely. I will live up to my promise to CM Punk. I will live up to my promise to my best friend in the world, CM Punk, Heyman said. I will be loyal to my best friend in the world, CM Punk, which does not mean Im going to be disloyal to my Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns.
WrestleMania 41 will see Heyman back in a familiar rolewalking into a high-stakes main event with the most dangerous men in the business. But even after Sunday, Heyman says the real story is just beginning. The trajectory to WrestleMania 42 and how Paul Heyman fits into that equation as well, he teased when asked what people will be talking about when the show is over.
Heyman also touched on his recent role as the faceand voiceof WWE 2K25. 2K Sports in their infinite wisdom, reached out not only to your Tribal Chief, but also to your wise man to be on the cover of WWE 2K25, Heyman said. They also had us on the cover of the special Bloodline edition and had me do a whole bunch of media that no one from the sports entertainment industry has done before.
He praised 2K for pushing WWE into new media territory, saying the outreach went beyond traditional wrestling coverage. Massive credit to the expansionist concept and the marketing of WWE 2K25 into other genres and avenues of media and publicity that had before never touched the subject.
