AEW just cranked up the heat for tonights episode of Collision, and fans better lock in. The April 17 edition of AEW Collision, dubbed Spring BreakThru, has already promised solid action, but now two major matches have been addedthanks to a last-minute digital exclusive featuring Don Callis.
In the clip, Callis revealed that Kyle Fletcher & Josh Alexander will team up to take on Tomohiro Ishii & Rocky Romero, a matchup with some serious international firepower. On top of that, Lance Archer returns to singles action as he faces Kevin Knight.
Thats in addition to a stacked lineup that already included:
- Mercedes Mon & Harley Cameron vs. Kris Statlander & Julia Hart, with Timeless Toni Storm on commentary
- ROH TV Title: Komander (c) vs. Nick Wayne
- TNT Championship Open Challenge: Adam Cole (c) vs. Mystery Opponent
The Spring BreakThru theme is also bringing extra attention to Mercedes Mon after she defeated Athena in the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament the night before. Mon now enters Collision with serious momentum.
Fans tuning in tonight are getting more than they bargained for. With the addition of Fletcher, Alexander, Ishii, Romero, Archer, and Knight to the card, AEW Collision is stacking up to be one of the strongest shows of the spring season. The live event goes down at the MGM Music Hall at Fenway in Boston, with coverage available on TNT and MAX starting at 8 PM ET.
AEW isnt pulling back, and with this last-minute push, Spring BreakThru feels more like a takeover than just another Thursday night show.
