HOOK was pulled from the AEW Dynamite Trios Championship main event on April 16, and now were learning more about what happened behind the scenes.

The outlet also confirmed that Powerhouse Hobbs was informed on Tuesday, April 16, that he would be taking HOOKs place in the championship match.

The updated lineup saw Hobbs step in alongside Joe and Shibata to face the Death Riders in the Dynamite main event.
