Rusev is WWE-bound once againand this time, it was Big E who accidentally spilled the tea.

During a recent Fanatics Live Signing, Big E and Tyler Breeze were pulling wrestling cards for fans when they stumbled across an autographed Rusev card. Thats when Big E lit up and gave away what fans had been speculating for weeks.

Someone who has just been announced to return, Big E said with a big grin. I actually reached out to him and he confirmed that the news is indeed true. I dont know when hell be back. A blast from the past and now very topical because he just announced he is returning to the squared circle in World Wrestling Entertainment.

Thats about as close to a confirmation as you can get without a surprise entrance. The timing checks out. It was already reported on April 2 that Rusev officially re-signed with WWE. And before that, WrestleVotes Radio revealed the Bulgarian Brute would be returning under his original WWE namenot Miro, the name he used in AEW. JoeyVotes and TC from the show agreed that Rusev is a better name, noting that WWE fans are far more connected to that version of the character.

As for when well see him back on TV? WWE is said to be fast-tracking his return, so it could happen on RAW, SmackDown, or even during WrestleMania weekend. He was removed from the AEW roster back in February after not competing since AEW Worlds End 2023, where he defeated Andrade El Idolo.

Now that Big E has practically confirmed what fans have been waiting to hear, all eyes are on WWE to see when Rusev will make his crushing return.
