Drew McIntyre mightve been jokingkind ofwhen he told fans to please wear deodorant during WrestleMania Week, but now its turned into a full-on hygiene crisis at WWE World in Las Vegas.
In a wild update, footage surfaced online on April 17 showing NXT stars Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez leaving WWE World earlyseemingly due to the overwhelming smell in the venue. In the video, Cora can be seen covering her mouth and nose while walking out, and just before the clip ends, a fan can be heard yelling, I need deodorant!
It didnt take long for the clip to blow up across social media, with fans connecting the dots to McIntyres viral PSA earlier this week. In that now-infamous rant, Drew begged attendees to clean up their act: Its WrestleMania week Im worried about you guys. Im concerned youre going to fck it up.
That statement aged like milk. McIntyres warning was meant to help fans avoid ruining the weekend for others, but it looks like some folks didnt get the messageand now top talent is literally walking away from the experience.
Whether it was a few inconsiderate fans or a full venue funk, this hygiene disaster just turned WWE World into a cautionary tale. If theres ever been a time to invest in some Old Spice, its now.
Whats your take on the situation? Should WWE staff start handing out travel-sized deodorant at the door? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
