AEW originally filed the trademark for AEW Summer Blockbuster on April 14, hinting at a new major event on the calendar. Now its locked in, and fans can expect a massive night of action as AEW continues to stack its summer lineup.
The announcement puts an end to speculation that the name could just be for merchandising or a vague future project. Instead, Summer Blockbuster joins AEWs expanding roster of themed events alongside Winter Is Coming, Beach Break, and Grand Slam.
Details on the match card havent been revealed yet, but with four hours booked, the show promises to deliver on the scale of a pay-per-viewwithout the price tag.
