AEW originally filed the trademark for AEW Summer Blockbuster on April 14, hinting at a new major event on the calendar. Now its locked in, and fans can expect a massive night of action as AEW continues to stack its summer lineup.
The announcement puts an end to speculation that the name could just be for merchandising or a vague future project. Instead, Summer Blockbuster joins AEWs expanding roster of themed events alongside Winter Is Coming, Beach Break, and Grand Slam.
