TNA Wrestlings decision to bring back Tessa Blanchard continues to blow up in their facethis time in front of a live audience that wasnt having it.
During the mixed tag team main event at TNA Unbreakable 2025 in Las Vegas, the crowd made their feelings crystal clear. As Blanchard teamed with Frankie Kazarian to take on Joe Hendry and Masha Slamovich, fans erupted with chants of F**k you, Tessa! which escalated to Shes a racist! and Raaaacist! Raaaacist! as the match went on.
The chants werent subtle, and they didnt let uphighlighting the unresolved tension surrounding Blanchards 2020 controversy when she was accused of bullying and using a racial slur against wrestler La Rosa Negra. Despite widespread backlash, Blanchard has never publicly apologized or made amends, a fact that continues to haunt her every appearance.
Fightfuls Sean Ross Sapp confirmed awhile back that TNA has no intention of addressing the controversy, and that media members have been shut down when trying to ask about it. Theyve been told, Well, she addressed it five years ago in a media call. She denied it, Sapp said.
But fans clearly arent buying the denialor TNAs silence. Whether TNA wants to address it or not, this crowd reaction proves one thing: the issue isnt going away. If TNA and Blanchard think they can move forward without confronting the past, theyre already being proven wrongloudly and publicly.
