Drew McIntyre has gone through many changes throughout his career, and fans still remember when he used Broken Dreams as his entrance theme. Many fans continue to hope it will return someday, and now, Drew McIntyre has addressed bringing it back.
While speaking during a WWE World panel, Drew McIntyre was asked whats holding him back from bringing back his original theme song, Broken Dreams. He said he loves the song too, but isnt exactly sure what the reason is for not using it again. He mentioned that he doesnt even know if WWE still owns the rights to it, though he recalled that it was created by Jim Johnston.
The Scottish Warrior said he would love to bring it back for a big event, but questioned whether it fits his current character. He joked that with the slower pace of the song, hed probably end up walking to the ring at Roman Reigns speed, which would add five more minutes to his entrance.
WWE broughtback Broken Dreams at Clash At The Castle 2022 momentarily as part of McIntyres introduction, but that was the last time fans ever got to hear the theme song again.
While fans would love to see the return of Broken Dreams for a special occasion, McIntyre remains unsure about whether it fits his current character. Therefore, well have to wait and see if fans will ever get to hear Broken Dreams again in the future.
Is there hope for Broken Dreams to make a full-time comeback, or is it best left as a nostalgic moment from the past?
