CM Punk might be days away from headlining his first WrestleMania main eventbut hes also staring down another big decision: whether or not to commit to WWE for the next five years.

Speaking on The Masked Man Show during WrestleMania week in Las Vegas, Punk admitted WWE is trying to lock him into a long-term deal, but hes not ready to jump in just yet. Theyre trying to get me to sign a five-year deal, he revealed. So I look at that and I go, Guys, I dont know.

While Punk admits hes physically aware of aging, mentally he feels sharper than ever. Your bodys going to give up on you way before your mind does, he said. To me, my minds never been sharper. Ive never been more focused.

The former AEW star also said that part of the motivation to headline WrestleMania during his original WWE run had to do with money. So if Im in the main event, I get paid more money. That does not exist anymore, he explained. Everybodys on flat salary and we get paid stupid money for what we do.

But even with that paycheck? Punk made it clear hes not hurting for cash. Im 46. I dont need money at this point in my life, he said.

Now back in WWE after nearly a decade awayand just days away from facing Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 41 night onePunk is thinking about what comes next. And despite WWEs push to secure him long term, the man who once walked away from the company is still weighing his options carefully.

Do you think CM Punk should stay for five more years? Or should he ride out this run and walk away on his own terms? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
