Triple H Praises Former WWE CEO In Hall Of Fame Induction Speech: 'I Love You, Vince' - Wrestling Inc.

CM Punk isnt mincing wordsespecially when it comes to politics, hypocrisy, and his own beliefs.
During an appearance on The Masked Man Show with David Shoemaker and Kazeem Famuyide, Punk was asked where he stands in the political firestorm thats surrounded WrestleMania week, especially with Roman Reigns and Triple H recently commenting on their support for Donald Trump. Punk, as usual, didnt hold back.
I dont think the company wants us to be outwardly political, Punk started. I do feel theres probably different rules for different people.
Punk admitted he doesnt talk politics backstage. Not with Triple H. Not with Paul Heyman. Not even with Roxanne Perez. Its 24/7 wrestling, he explained. But when it comes to his personal stance, Punk made it very clear: he doesnt buy into blind party loyalty or cult-like devotion to any President.
President should just do his job, Punk said. If youre wearing hats and shirts promoting the President and all that stuff weve very much seen recently all these people who voted against their best interests because they thought this President was just going to do bad stupid shit to the people they dont like.
Then he unloaded: I can sort of draw a line in the sand and say when Elon Musk is throwing Zieg Heil up at the podium, and I see people make excuses for thatnope. We saw what you did. Dont gaslight me, Im not as fucking stupid as you are. I know what you did, so I know what you are.
Punk called the world strange and ugly, but said all he can do is stay grounded. The only thing I can do is be true to myself be a voice for myself and my family and my community, and then the world, he said.
As for critics who slam him online? He wasnt letting them slide. Im just supposed to quit my job because somebody on Twitter says WWE is a MAGA company? Okay. Youre on Lord Elon Musks fucking Twitter saying stupid shit. Shut the fuck up.
Punk added that his activism is realbut private. Ive done a lot, I just dont broadcast it. I put my money where my mouth is I dont need to write my name in on a fuckin GoFundMe to make me feel better about the shitty person I am.
Punk, known for his outspoken support of teachers rights, trans rights, and abortion rights, wrapped it up the only way he knows how: Sometimes I can crash like water and sometimes I can be still.
Punk will headline WrestleMania 41 night one in Las Vegas, going up against Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins in a triple threat. But even before the bell rings, hes already making his presence felt.
