Logan Paul just beat a lawsuit mid-flightand hes not letting anyone forget it.
The YouTube star and former WWE United States Champion was hit with a $400,000 lawsuit over a viral incident where he opened a private jet doorbut now the case has been tossed, and Logans got the receipts.
In a new YouTube video titled My Plane Door Exploded Not Clickbait, Paul revealed that the lawsuit, filed by private jet company Rennia Global, has officially been dropped. The reason? Footage captured during the flight clearly contradicted the claims that Logan disobeyed flight crew orders.
Thank God we film everything, Paul said in the video, reading from what he says was the companys initial complaint. LP was instructed by the Flight Crew not to manipulate the main entrance door of the Aircraft But in the footage, Logan is seen working with the flight attendant to open the doorbecause the plane was allegedly pressurizing early and passengers were already feeling the effects.
Pauls wife, Nina Agdalwho was heavily pregnant at the timealso expressed concern for their safety during the ordeal. The footage shows a hissing sound as the door opens, but the aftermath wasnt captured on camera.
Despite the dramatic claims in the now-dismissed lawsuit, a rep for Logan told Newsweek, After seeing the footage, they dropped it and admitted it was a meritless lawsuit.
The company behind the legal action, Dumont Aircraft Charter LLC (doing business as Rennia Global), has yet to comment publicly. According to legal docs, the action was dismissed with both sides covering their own fees.
As for the incident itself, itll now live forever on Logans upcoming reality show Paul American. Episode 5, which reportedly includes this explosive flight drama, is set to drop on April 24.
