While speaking to Ten Count Media, Dakota Kai revealed that she received death threats after her reaction to IYO SKY being asked whether she would want to face Taylor Swift in a match.
Kai explained that everyone was a bit confused by the question, but it gained attention online and quickly spiraled. Once social media picked it up, it turned into a mix of extreme reactions, with some people sending her death threats.
Kai and others were shocked by the death threats, agreeing that it was way too much. Dakota said theres a lot of that kind of behavior online, which is why she doesnt spend much time on social media anymore. She described it as a scary place where people say wild things over something as simple as mentioning Taylor Swift.
During the WWE Fastlane 2023 press conference, IYO SKY was asked whether she would face Taylor Swift in a match. This led to Dakota Kai laughing loudly and asking SKY if she actually wanted to wrestle Swift. Kais reaction was a very normal one, so its just a shame that she received death threats over it.
