
WWEs NXT brand held Stand & Deliver at the T-Mobile Arena on April 19. The Saturday afternoon event took place before WrestleMania 41 and featured several key matches for the companys developmental brand.
One of the featured matches was a #1 Contenders Match for the WWE Womens Tag Team Championship. It was a Fatal Four-Way Elimination match with Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade facing Meta-Four, Fatal Influence, and the team of Gigi Dolin and Tatum Paxley.
The winner of this match will take on whoever is the WWE Womens Tag Team Champions on next weeks episode of NXT. The April 22 episode of NXT will have quite a tag team match, but we dont know who will be the titleholders as Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez will take on Bayley and Lyra Valkyria at WrestleMania 41.
This match went down during the kickoff show before the premium live event. The elimination matchup, and they left everything in the ring.
This match was a powder keg, and it eventually erupted into an all-out brawl after fans chanted let them fight when the referee tried to stop them. There were several dives and brutal power moves as everyone got spots in and also took bumps on the outside as several of the women climbed up to risk it all for a dive on the outside.
The Meta Girls were eliminated first, and that was a big surprise. Roxanne Perez walked out on Cora Jade as she took the pin. The Tatum Paxley nailed Cemetery Drive and won the match. This secured their spot on Tuesdays NXT, but the big question is who their opponents will be.
