Every year, the Slammy Awards get fans really excited, as everyone wants to see who wins the biggest honors. This year is no different, and now the Female Superstar of the Year has finally been announced.
The nominees for Female Superstar of the Year include many top women in WWE today. Liv Morgan has had a big year as she won the Womens World Title and got involved with Dominik Mysterio, while Rhea Ripley also had a strong showing as the Womens World Champion to kick off 2025.
On the other hand, Bayley made a strong statement with her run as the WWE Womens Champion. Nia Jax followed suit after beating Bayley for the title and establishing herself as a big star.
Tiffany Stratton cashed in her Money in the Bank briefcase on Jax to become the WWE Womens Champion and has been a solid champion so far, while Chelsea Green made history as the first-ever Womens United States Champion. Finally, IYO SKY shocked everyone by beating Rhea Ripley for the Womens World Championship heading into WrestleMania 41.
During the Slammy Awards this year, Piper Niven and Braun Strowman came out to present the Female Superstar of the Year. It was officially announced that Liv Morgan has won the Female Superstar of the Year award and many fans feel this was simply the right choice after the way she carried the womens division on her back the past year.
Liv Morgans win at the 2025 Slammy Awards was the perfect end to a year where she showed she truly belongs at the top of WWE. From her title run to her surprising connection with Dominik Mysterio, Liv kept growing, and fans supported her the whole time.
