WrestleMania 41 was packed with action, and during Charlotte Flairs clash with Tiffany Stratton, one spot immediately stood out to fansand to someone who knows it better than anyone.
Early in the match, Flair used a move thats become a staple of Stephanie Vaquers arsenal in NXT: wrapping her legs around her opponents head on the mat and repeatedly driving their face into the canvas. Its a move Vaquer uses in nearly every match, and WWE made sure to tag her when they posted footage of it on social media.
Just before WrestleMania Sunday kicked off, Vaquer responded with a playful post of her own, writing: thinks theres a big difference between hers and mine
It wasnt shadejust a light-hearted acknowledgment that fans immediately recognized. The timing and tone suggest Vaquer appreciated the nod, but still wanted to remind everyone where the move came from.
Whether this leads to something more between the two remains to be seen, but one things clear: Vaquers influence is now showing up on the biggest stage WWE has.
