John Cena officially etched his name in wrestling history at WrestleMania 41and Ric Flair had something to say about it.
On April 20 at Allegiant Stadium, Cena defeated Cody Rhodes in the main event of WrestleMania 41 Sunday, capturing his 17th World Championship and surpassing the record long held by Ric Flair. The finish came after Cena hit [Rhodes] with the Undisputed WWE Championship and pinned him, ending Codys 378-day reign and closing the chapter on his first title run.
With this win, Cena moved past the iconic 16-time record that Flair had held for decades. The Nature Boy didnt stay silent. Shortly after the match, Flair posted his reaction on social media, acknowledging the moment the wrestling world had been waiting for.

While Cena fans are celebrating, many longtime supporters of Flair are still wrapping their heads around the fact that someone finally surpassed the legendary record. Cena had been tied with Flair since 2017, but now, with this WrestleMania win, he stands alone at the top.
