Wardlows surprise absence from Pandemonium Pro Wrestlings April 17 event just got a lot more interestingand it may have everything to do with WWE.

After being quietly pulled from the House Always Wins show last month, fans were left wondering what happened to the former AEW TNT Champion. Now, according to Fightful Select, the answer is finally starting to come together: Wardlow was pulled from the Senior Scramble to attend the WWE Hall of Fame with Barbarian. Were told they were supposed to speak with WWE officials as well.

Thats right. Wardlowwho has been off AEW programming for monthswas backstage at the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony in Las Vegas. And he wasnt just there to clap from the crowd. Sources say there were talks planned between him and WWE higher-ups while he appeared alongside legendary powerhouse The Barbarian.

This update fuels even more speculation about Wardlows next move. While AEW hasnt publicly commented on his status, hes been reportedly recovering from injury and pursuing outside projects in Los Angeles. The appearance at WWEs most elite event of the yearespecially with closed-door meetings involvedhas fans buzzing that something bigger could be brewing.

In the meantime, indie fans lost out, with Duke Hudson (now just Duke) stepping in for Wardlow at the six-man tag. Pandemonium Pro simply blamed circumstances outside of our control for the late switch. Now we know that those circumstances may have been far more corporate than anyone expected.
