WrestleMania 41 may be in the books, but the physical toll is still being feltand Rhea Ripley just shared the proof.
Just hours before Monday Night RAW, Ripley posted a close-up photo to Instagram showing off a nasty black eye, presumably from her triple threat match on Night 2 of WrestleMania. With swelling around her eye and visible bruising, Ripley captioned the photo: #WrestleMania 41 souvenir
The match saw Ripley square off against IYO SKY and Bianca Belair for the WWE Womens World Championship in a wild opener at Allegiant Stadium. Despite the chaosand delivering a Razors Edge that drove Belair into IYORipley didnt walk out with the gold. IYO retained after landing her Over the Moonsault on Belair for the pin.
The image adds more context to the matchs brutality. It was previously reported concerns that Bianca Belair may have suffered a finger injury during the same bout. While that hasnt been officially confirmed, now both women are showing signs of just how punishing the contest really was.
Ripleys post doesnt offer much beyond the cheeky caption, but the message is clearshe may have lost the match, but she wore every second of it.
