Bayley Hints at WWE Departure After Contract Expires

While speaking to Chris Van Vliet, Bayley talked about her future in WWE and hinted that she might be getting ready to leave when her contract ends. She revealed she has about a year and a half left and isnt sure what will happen after that. She feels proud of everything shes done in WWE over the past 12 years but also knows theres still more she could do. At the same time, she sees a lot of new women in WWE who are ready to take over and shine.

Working with younger stars like Lyra Valkyria, Roxanne Perez, and Cora Jade has shown her how much talent the womens division has. Shes especially enjoyed teaming with Lyra and getting to know her better outside the ring. Bayley was impressed by how passionate Lyra is about wrestling and how much she wants to improve things for everyone, not just herself, but even for Bayley.

Thinking about possibly finishing up in a couple of years, Bayley feels comfort knowing the womens division will be in good hands. She remembers how John Cena once said he didnt want to leave because he didnt know who could take his place. While Bayley isnt saying shes at Cenas level, she understands that feeling.

For her, the goal has always been to leave WWE better than when she started. And now, seeing the new generation of women ready to lead, she feels like she can do that and maybe walk away soon.

Bayley signed her contract back in December 2023 and now that she has about 18 months left on her contract, fans are wondering whether she will truly be done with WWE once her contract ends.
