10. Saya Kamitani 28yo STARDOM
Saya Kamitani may have started her wrestling journey later than a lot of STARDOM talent, in 2019, but that hasnt stopped her from reaching the top. She has a background in dance. As a rookie in 2019, she won STARDOM Rookie of the Year and just two years later in 2021 she won the Cinderella Tournament. From winning the Cinderella Tournament, she challengedTam Nakano for the Wonder of Stardom Title and came up empty handed.
Since December, Kamitani has sat at the top of the STARDOM division as its World of Stardom Champion in her first reign. She has also held the white belt as well, the Wonder of Stardom Championship, which she held for 480 days.
Kamitani has worked matches with some of the biggest names in STARDOM over the past five years including Utami Hayashishita, Mina Shirakawa, KAIRI, Tam Nakano, and more. She became the leader of Queens Quest after Utami left STARDOM to join the Marigold promotion. Queens Quest ended as a stable on Kamitanis reign as she joined H.A.T.E. This was after the rest of the stable had to leave the group due to a match stipulation, leaving Kamitani by herself.
Currently, Kamitani is not just sitting at the top of the promotion, but she also is in a high stakes feud with Nakano. In March, Kamitani defeated Nakano in a Loser Leaves Stardom match, however, Kamitani allowed Nakano to stick around and now at All Star Grand Queendom at the end of this month, the two will be having a Career vs. Career match with the World of Stardom Title also on the line.
Kamitani is also a former two-time Goddess of Stardom Champion with Utami and a former High Speed Champion.
