With that in mind, Luger has now addressed whether he feels he would have gotten inducted had Vince McMahon still been around.
While speaking to Ariel Helwani, Lex Luger was asked if he believed he would still be inducted if Vince McMahon were still around and whether Vince McMahon held any hard feelings about him showing up on WCW Nitro.
Luger responded by saying that was a question only Vince McMahon could answer, as he said, Well, that would be a Vince McMahon question for sure.
Lex Luger also explained why he missed WrestleMania 41 following his Hall of Fame induction, as his body simply was too tired at that point. As for Vince McMahon, his issues with Lex Luger are well-documented, so many fans feel McMahon was a massive reason why Luger never got into the Hall of Fame until this year.

With Triple H now leading WWEs creative direction and working to reshape storylines while honoring forgotten legends, Lex Lugers long-awaited Hall of Fame induction feels like a result of this approach. Many fans believe that this recognition might never have happened if Vince McMahon were still in charge.
Even with past controversies, Lugers influence on pro wrestling, from his time in NWA/WCW to his runs in WWE is now officially recognized through his Hall of Fame honor and thats all that matters in the end.
