The April 22 episode of NXT went down at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas in Las Vegas, Nevada. Naturally, you never know what to expect when WWE brings a special show, especially as the fallout to a big event like Stand & Deliver.
Joe Hendry showed up at WrestleMania 41 as Randy Ortons surprise opponent. This was a big deal to see the TNA World Champion on the grandest stage of them all, but you never know where we will see Hendry as people continue to saw his name.
Oba Femi came out to address the NXT Universe after his big Stand & Deliver defense. Then Trick Williams came out to confront him. It didnt take long for Joe Hendrys music to hit, and the NXT fans popped in a huge way to see Hendry.
After posing with the TNA World Title, Joe Hendry addressed the two men in the ring. Hendry turned his attention to Trick Williams, where he said that all he does is soak in self-pity nowadays. Then he mentioned his own WrestleMania match. Hendry also told Trick that hes not hungry, because hes entitled instead.
Joe Hendry then said that maybe, just maybe Trick Williams is a whiney bitch! That caused Trick to stop Hendry. That gave Trick a chance to say that Hendry is an outsider, and he doesnt fit in. He also brought up how Randy Orton beat him at WrestleMania. Then he told him to take the TNA Wrestling World Title and go back to that company.
Joe Hendry wasnt ashamed about how his match turned out at WrestleMania. At least he had a match while Trick Williams was watching. Hendry then turned his attention to Oba Femi, but Trick got in the way. This resulted in a three-way fight and Trick Williams took a ride outside the ring thanks to both champions.
Oba Femi and Joe Hendry stood face to face with their titles as Trick Williams watched on from the entrance ramp as the segment closed out. We will have to see what develops from this situation.
