Solo Sikoas WrestleMania 41 appearance was shortbut its causing a lot of chatter backstage.

On Night One of WWEs biggest show of the year, Sikoa showed up briefly to back Jacob Fatu on the entrance ramp before Fatu went on to defeat LA Knight for the United States Title. That moment alone had fans speculating on whether WWE had bigger plans for Sikoa on the grand stage.

Chris Featherstone claimed on Backstage Pass that there were scrapped plans for Sikoa to serve as the special guest referee for Cody Rhodes vs. John Cena in the WrestleMania 41 main event. But thats not the full story.

According to Cory Hays of PWN/Bodyslam, Solo was never planned to be the special guest referee for Cody Rhodes vs. John Cena. Hays also confirmed Sikoa was never considered to be Randy Ortons open challenge opponentthat role ultimately went to TNA World Champion Joe Hendry.

Despite not playing a role in the main event for the first time since 2022, Sikoas presence still mattered. He gave Jacob Fatu a major cosign on the ramp, helping solidify Fatus dominance during his huge title win.

Meanwhile, John Cena broke the record with his 17th world championship win, thanks in part to a major assist from rapper Travis Scott, who helped Cena secure the win over Cody Rhodes in shocking fashion.

Were you hoping to see Solo Sikoa have a bigger role at Wrestle Mania 41? Or did WWE make the right call keeping him in the background this year? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
