Booker T is done playing defense over that viral Hall of Fame momentand now hes putting Logan Paul on blast instead.
After a photo surfaced from the 2025 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony showing Booker with his eyes closed during the Natural Disasters induction, fans instantly turned it into a meme. Claims that he nodded off mid-speech ran wild, and Booker initially stayed silentliterally tweeting the uncaptioned pic, letting the internet do its thing.
But now, Bookers clearing it up on his podcastand hes not holding back. I want to let everybody know that the photo thats circulating around I was not asleep, he said. I mean, you could tell my head was straight up. It wasnt tilted to the left or right. It was down because it was a somber moment, and I was praying and really thinking about being in the moment.
Its one thing about situations like that, having that Hall of Fame speech and that Hall of Fame moment. Certain times its going to be laughter, but certain times you gotta really take it seriously about whats being said. And at that point, I was definitely in tune. Lets just say that I was in tune, but sleeping? No, I was not sleeping.
Then came the twistBooker dropped a name. Logan Paul was asleep. Im gonna tell you that right now, Logan was out. But it was several people that were asleep, that were actually asleep. If they would have floor cameras, they would have noticed. They would have said. But no, it was a lot of [people].
Booker also poked fun at the situation live on the April 22 episode of WWE NXT, where Vic Joseph opened the show by saying, Booker T, the last time you were here (at the Hall of Fame), you were asleep. Without missing a beat, Booker snapped back: I was praying.
Despite the internet memes and fan commentary, Booker seems unbotheredand now Logan Pauls the one with some explaining to do.
