The April 23 episode of AEW Dynamite was quite a show as Tony Khans company continued. The UNO Lakefront Arena in New Orleans, LA was full of AEW fans, and FTR made their big return to the picture.
Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler have been out of action via suspension for a while. They made their way back to AEW this week, but they were not alone.
Stokely Hathaway was there to introduce Dax and Cash to the ring. Then he proceeded to hype them up on the microphone as their new mouthpiece. This seemed to be a good fit for the veteran team that is now a heel tandem.
FTR brought the Rock n Roll Express into the ring next. Then they proceeded to destroy the WWE Hall of Fame team. That was quite brutal, but they also sent a message.
We will have to see what Stokely Hathaway and FTR do next. Obviously, they have a bit more momentum going for them at this point, and you never know what is down the road for them.
