On the April 23 episode of AEW Dynamite, the company confirmed that Samoa Joe will challenge Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship at Beach Break on May 14. This announcement comes just one week after Joe choked out Moxley to win the AEW Trios Titles alongside Powerhouse Hobbs and Katsuyori Shibata as The Opps.
And if that wasnt enough, Joe did it againchoking out Moxley for the second straight week during a wild segment on Wednesdays Dynamite that also featured hip-hop icon Master P.
The buildup has been vicious, and the violence is only escalating. Moxleys grip on the AEW World Title is under serious threat as Joe looks more dangerous than ever heading into Beach Break.
