Kairi Sane is on the verge of a comebackand she says shes coming back stronger than ever.
The former WWE Womens Tag Team Champion was pulled from the WWE Womens Intercontinental Title tournament back in December due to an injury that wasnt publicly detailed at the time. Now, Sane has revealed exactly what happenedand how far shes come.
Three months ago, I tore a ligament in my thumb and couldnt even open a bottle cap, Sane wrote in a new Twitter post. Now, Ive fully regained my grip strengthand Im even stronger than before.
She also gave credit to her doctor for getting her back on track: Im truly grateful from the bottom of my heart to Dr. Hirsch, who performed my surgery. He was such a kind and wonderful doctor. I wish I had taken a photo with him to remember that moment.
PWInsider is now reporting that Sane was backstage at WrestleMania 41 and is expected to be back anytime. While WWE hasnt confirmed her official return date, all signs point to her being medically cleared very soon.
With Sane ready to go and the womens division heating up, her return could shake things up in a big way.
