8. Sareee 29yo Sukeban
Sareee is a shining star and she has proven it by the way certain promotions have presented her. She started wrestling at the age of 15, but unlike many others on this list, she did not start in STARDOM. She started in the Diana promotion and wrestled there for six years. Following Diana, she headed over to the Seadlinnng promotion for a short time. She would return to Seadlinnng later after her run in WWEs NXT.
Sareee worked for NXT from 2020 to 2023 under the name Sarray. She got caught up in the NXT 2.0 timeframe and unfortunately, the creative aspect of her time in NXT was something that was a miss. She would return to Japan afterwards.
Sareee has been widely during her career, but since leaving NXT, she was seen as the face of two new start-up promotions. One was Marigold which was started by former STARDOM co-founder Rossy Ogawa. She became the promotions first Marigold World Champion. She also has returned to the states to start the Sukeban promotion. Here she signed a multi year deal with the promotion at the start of it in 2023. She is their inaugural champion and still holds the belt. Sareee-ISM is Sareees own indie promotion which has so far had seven events starting in 2023. The last event in March, Sareee went to a 30 minute time limit draw with the former World of Stardom Champion Syuri. She faced Meiko Satomura at her event in January in a losing effort.
In 2024, Sareee finally poked her head into STARDOM first participating in a tag team match. She then challenged Mayu Iwatani for the IWGP Womens Championship. She was unable to capture that gold. However, here we are a year later and Sareee is keeping a close eye on the upcoming IWGP Womens Title match between the still champion Iwatani and Syuri.
Sareee has faced some of the biggest names in Japan. She has had promotions start around her by making her an inaugural champion and she even produces and participates in her own events! At just 29 years old, Sareee can achieve a lot more.
