TheApril 21st edition of Monday Night Raw featured GUNTHER choking out Pat McAfee and grabbing Michael Cole, which definitely shocked fans. This led to WWE indefinitely suspending the Ring General, and now the real reason behind the suspension has been revealed.
According to Cory Hays of PWN, GUNTHER actually asked for some time off, which is the actual reason why he has been suspended indefinitely. Right now, theres no word on how long he will be away from WWE television.
GUNTHERs despicable actions were due to the fact that Jey Uso tapped him out at WrestleMania 41, leading to Jey Uso winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
Not just that, Pat McAfee already commented on the attack earlier this week, revealing that he had to visit a medical facility in Las Vegas after being choked out by GUNTHER on RAW. McAfee was worried about a potential neck injury, but was cleared after getting a medical evaluation.
Many fans feel GUNTHER more than deserves a time off after all the hard work he did as the World Heavyweight Champion over the past year. Therefore, well have to wait and see when he will return, as its likely he will be feuding with Pat McAfee once he is back.
