According to Fightful Select, Brodie Jrs appearance at the GCW Clusterfuck came together in the most unexpected way. UK prospect Man Like Dereiss ran into Brodie earlier in the day and casually asked, What are you doing tonight? When Dereiss mentioned he was working the Clusterfuck match, he jokingly asked if Brodie wanted in. Without missing a beat, Brodie replied, Yes I do.
After getting permission from his mom, Amanda Huber, the wheels were in motion. Brett Lauderdale quickly reached out to Joey Janela to inform him that Brodie would be in the matchand Janela immediately pushed for Brodie to win.
Sources say Brodie, who has been training hard at Dungeon 2.0, wanted to make sure he represented the school well. His trainers and peers at the Dungeon were said to be proud of his short-notice debut. After making a huge impression at GCW, Brodie was reportedly back at Dungeon 2.0 by mid-week, continuing to grind away at his training.
