Bully Ray isnt holding back when it comes to The Rock and the messy aftermath of WrestleMania 41.
Earlier this week, The Rock (real name Dave Johnson) brushed off criticism from Busted Open Radios Dave LaGreca, telling him, the business is a complete work and to stop ranting, its not healthy my friend. Enjoy the show. That didnt sit well with Bully Ray, who sounded off about Rocks absence from the WrestleMania Night Two main event during Thursdays episode.
I stuck up for these guys, and I told the Busted Open nation the way they connected the dots, theyve earned my benefit of the doubt to sit back and enjoy what theyre doing, Bully said. But now with everything thats going down, its now in front of my eyes, they had no clue what the f**k they were doing this whole time.
Bully specifically torched the half-baked Codys soul storyline, saying: Oh maybe one day well come back to the soul, No. Dont go back to the soul, you already stooged it off that it wasnt going to happen, so lets forget about Codys soul. As a matter of fact, unless Im getting Cody versus The Rock one day, I dont think I need to see it. I dont need to see it, and I sure as hell dont need to see Roman [Reigns] and Rock because Rock already put the Ula Fala around his head.
Bully didnt stop there. He even called out Rock to listen to the fans instead of brushing them off: Rock, I want you to let Dave into one of those meetings. I want you to let him sit at the table with you and Brian Gewirtz when youre coming up with everything, because Dave LaGreca is the voice of the wrestling fan, and maybe you should hear, or have heard the voice of the wrestling fan before you decided to not show up at WrestleMania. At the end of the day, Daves passion makes sense.
The fallout from WrestleMania 41 clearly isnt overand fans are making their voices heard louder than ever.
