The 2024 AEW Double or Nothing pay-per-view featured Adam Copeland defending his TNT Championship against Aleister Black in a brutal steel cage match. In fact, Black has now claimed that he lost over a pint of blood in the match.

While speaking on Wrestling the Rap Game podcast, Aleister Black talked about his steel cage match with Adam Copeland last year. He called the match one of his favorites in AEW and said Adam was very helpful and easy to work with, making the match a lot of fun.

Black remembered how badly he bled, with people estimating he lost about a pint and a half of blood because it kept pouring out for so long. Even though it was a lot, he thought the blood made the match feel even more intense, especially since he doesnt usually bleed in his matches.

Black stated that the cage match needed to be violent and felt that they pulled it off by mixing slow, heavy moments with quick, sharp action to make it really exciting.
