Cody Rhodes hasnt been seen on WWE television ever since he lost the Undisputed WWE Championship to John Cena at WrestleMania 41. While he remains absent, it appears the American Nightmare was spotted with a fan at Universal Studios.
A fan took to her Instagram and revealed that she met Cody Rhodes at Universal Studios, mentioning that he was very friendly and showed excitement about spotting her favorite wrestler, saying, Spotted my favorite wrestler at Universal Studios! Hes such a nice guy.
This comes after the American Nightmare missed both the April 21st edition of Monday Night Raw and the April 25th edition of Friday Night SmackDown, as he is clearly taking a well-deserved break for now.
By the looks of it, many fans feel that Cody Rhodes will not be returning before the Backlash Premium Live Event, where John Cena will defend his Undisputed WWE Championship against Randy Orton.
Nevertheless, we will have to wait and see when Cody Rhodes will make his triumphant return to WWE television and what the company will have planned for him once he does come back, since it will be the first time in over a year he will be without a championship on his shoulders.
