Bryan Danielson hasbeen dealing with neck issues for a very long time and fans havent seen him on AEW television since his loss at AEW WrestleDream last year. While fans continue to speculate his in-ring future, Danielson has now confirmed his status for the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door pay-per-view this year.
While speaking to the Daily Star, Bryan Danielson talked about his status for Forbidden Door 2025. He said he doesnt want to officially say he is completely done with wrestling. While he mentioned a few times that he is 95% sure he wont be competing at Forbidden Door, one of his colleagues pointed out that still leaves a 5% chance.
Bryan Danielson explained that the only way he would wrestle is if something went wrong and Tony Khan needed someone to step in. In that case, he would be willing to fill in. For now he is sticking to the idea that you should never say never when it comes to competing at the event.
It is to be noted that the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door pay-per-view will take place on Sunday, August 24, at The O2 in London, UK. Therefore, theres still a lot of time before the event happens, and AEW could have Danielson compete at the event if possible.
For now, Danielson is focused on healing and picking his moments carefully. After a long career full of amazing matches, many fans believe that if Bryan Danielson wrestles again, it should be for something really special. Therefore, well have to wait and see if he ends up competing at Forbidden Door.
