The wild match saw Moose defend the X-Division Championship against Leon Slater, Matt Cardona, KC Navarro, Hijo del Vikingo, and Sidney Akeem. Things spiraled into absolute insanity when Slater climbed the top of the massive podium holding up the Ultimate X structure and launched himself with a jaw-dropping 450 splash onto a pile of bodies outside the ring.
The spot looked terrifying, but theres good news. According to Fightful Select, Those that we spoke to said that Leon Slater appeared to be okay backstage after his insane Ultimate X spot.
In the final stretch, it looked like Slater had actually pulled off the miracle by grabbing the belt until Moose charged up and speared him out of midair in a scene straight out of a car crash. Moose secured the title and walked out of Rebellion still the X-Division Champion.
After a spot that wild, fans were rightfully concerned for Slaters health, but it sounds like hes in good shape and based on what he pulled off at Rebellion, his star is only going to rise from here.
