AEW is on a roll right now, with the company putting out content that fans are really enjoying. This has led to an increase in ticket sales for its event, and now it appears that the upcoming AEW Grand Slam: Mexico has already sold out well before the event takes place.
As revealed by the official Ticketmaster site for AEW Grand Slam: Mexico, AEW has completely sold out the highly anticipated event, which will be held in the legendary Arena Mxico in Mexico City.
It is to be noted that the total capacity of the venue is 16,500 and so its an incredible achievement for AEW to have already sold out the show long before it takes place, which is on June 18th.
AEW President Tony Khan has been very open about his relationship with CMLL and the fact that he wants to help both companies grow in a big way, so AEW Grand Slam: Mexico already selling out is definitely a promising sign.
This sellout also sends a clear message to the rest of the wrestling world since it shows AEW is definitely picking up the pace in a big way. Now it remains to be seen what kind of card AEW will have planned for the show, as they definitely want to make sure fans get their moneys worth.
