Rey Mysterio just dropped an important health updatehes officially going under the knife to fix the torn abductor muscle that forced him out of WrestleMania 41.
Taking to Instagram Stories, Mysterio shared the news with fans, confirming the severity of his injury from WWE SmackDown. The incident happened during a six-man tag team match where Rey teamed up with Dragon Lee and Rey Fenix against American Made (Brutus Creed, Chad Gable, and Julius Creed).
Originally, Mysterio was set to face off against El Grande Americano at WrestleMania 41, but after the injury forced him to withdraw, Rey Fenix stepped in as his replacement. Unfortunately for Mysterio, El Grande Americano came out victorious at the event.
Mysterios been through wars before, but this injury is a brutal reminder that even legends arent invincible. Now its all about the rehab grind and whether the future Hall of Famer can make another miracle comeback.
