WWEs new Netflix docuseries Unreal dropped its trailerand the reaction behind the scenes is intense for all the wrong reasons.

During the trailer, a shot of a backstage whiteboard revealed a list of potential WrestleMania matches, reportedly taken from a creative meeting during the winter months. What was meant to be a glimpse into the chaos of WWE planning ended up exposing internal discussions that many talent werent even aware of.

According to Fightful Select, several wrestlers reached out privately, admitting they only found out they were once in line for WrestleMania matches after seeing their names in the Unreal trailer. Some stars who appeared on the whiteboard said they never had any conversations with WWE about the matches they were allegedly booked for. Others, who didnt even end up on the WrestleMania card, were surprised and frustrated to learn they were once considered.

One source said talent were left blindsided, and it didnt stop there. There was also a lot of talk backstage about Asukas name appearing on the list. Asuka had been out with injury, and sources said her being penciled in was very ambitious, given her recovery timeline.
