After GUNTHER mocked their upcoming WWE Backlash showdown with a tweet that simply read in response to the match announcement, Pat McAfee didnt stay quiet. He pulled up the tweet live on The Pat McAfee Show and let the world know exactly how he feels heading into the May 10 clash.
Im ready for that. I punch that punching machine over there. I saw some guy on the internet hit one of these things at a weight room. If you saw this guy, he looked like he was about 290, completely jacked. He got all fired up and scored around a 915 or something like that. I was like, Yeah, 915 is fun. Me and Bruce do that left-handed, McAfee said.
He wasnt done. Addressing the challenge head-on, McAfee added, So, If he wants to go and get a job, I think Im gonna work on some of those as wellbecause you can turn the knockout punch on, which I have. I have titanium in here, and this thing has been around a couple times.
McAfee even touched on the infamous GUNTHER chops: What if I didnt know in my preparation going through this chop world maybe Ive got an OK one as well. Thats what were gonna find out.
He didnt shy away from the reality either. Theres a chance I get my ass kicked out therecertainly isbut just know that Id rather get my ass kicked standing up for my friend than be a coward and back away whenever some bully comes in and starts messing with a six-year-old GOAT.
As for his RAW appearance the night before, McAfee made it clear he fed off the moment. Im excited. Last night was awesome in Kansas City. Great crowd.
