Jeff Jarrett isnt holding backand hes naming names.
The WWE Hall of Famer unloaded during the latest episode of his My World podcast, expressing serious disappointment over his current AEW run and laying heavy blame on MJF. Jarrett confirmed that his frustrations aired during a recent Collision promo werent just part of the show.
There was a lot of reality in that lots of shreds of reality, he said. I am super disappointed that Ive got myself in this position. I cant tell you how many times Ive rethought agreeing on certain levels to certain things.
While he took accountability for listening to the wrong voicesseemingly referencing Sonjay DuttJarrett turned his sharpest fire toward former AEW World Champion MJF. MJF, ever since he got involved in anything that had to do with myself, has turned to absolute shit, Jarrett said bluntly.
He revealed that he even warned MJF before their segments. I said, Hey, man, youre going to say what you want to say, and if you want to go in the gutter, I dont want to go there. Its not good for me good for you good for the product. He did that.
Jarrett didnt stop there. Theres not one talent that has been involved with [MJF] he always leaves everyone worse than when he started I think hes toxic, toxic. I think hes selfish, Jarrett stated, though he admitted, Hes got a boatload of talent. Still, Jarrett believes MJF derailed his AEW momentum. I dont think he was good for my career on any level. I think he got me off on a wrong track The MJF situation was a massive, massive, massive mistake on so many levels.
Despite the negativity, Jarrett isnt ready to call it quits. He praised his stablemates Jay Lethalincredible talentand Satnam Singhtruly one in a billionand teased taking more control of his own direction in AEW. Well see where this thing goes you can turn things around and get back on track if given the opportunity. So thats kind of the mindsetto get the right opportunity.
Jeff Jarrett isnt just ventinghes throwing down the gauntlet. After decades in the game, he knows what bad business looks like, and hes making it clear that his time with MJF was just that. Whether AEW gives him the chance to course-correct or not, one things certainJarretts not going out quietly.
